Chopra picks one of the two great openers in the history of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), West Indies superstar Chris Gayle and India captain Virat Kohli for the opening slot. Gayle played seven seasons for RCB and had been sensational in RCB’s jersey while Kohli was with the franchise since the beginning of the IPL. Chopra also gives the captaincy to Kohli.

For the number 3 positions, Chopra chooses wicket-keeper batsman Lokesh Rahul. Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers is next in line at no. 4, justifying the place with playing 8 seasons for RCB and one of the top players of RCB history.

Chopra selects New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor and India batsman Robin Uthappa for no. 5 and no. 6 position. However, Chopra’s team is missing a proper all-rounder as he ignores the likes of Australian star all-rounder Shane Watson, South African legendary all-rounder Jacques Kallis and India’s World Cup winning all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

For the bowling slot, Chopra picks a good pace bowling department with Australia star pacer Mitchell Starc and two Indian pacer- Zaheer Khan and R Vinay Kumar. But he omits South Africa star pacer Dale Steyn in his XI.

For the spin bowling option, Chopra chooses former RCB captain Anil Kumble and India’s one of the best spin bowler currently, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Virat Kohli (c), Chris Gayle, KL Rahul (wk), AB de Villiers, Ross Taylor, Robin Uthappa, Mitchell Starc, Anil Kumble, Yuzvendra Chahal, R Vinay Kumar and Zaheer Khan.
