Al – Amin to leave for Chennai tomorrow
Young Bangladeshi pacer Al – Amin Hossain who had been accused for suspected bowling action in the just completed West Indies tour, is going to be examined in the coming Monday in Chennai. Al – Amin will leave Dhaka tomorrow (Sunday) in a flight at 10 o’clock in the morning. According to the rules of International Cricket Council (ICC), any bowler accused for suspected action has to go under bio – mechanic examination in an approved laboratory.
Al – Amin’s bowling action was to be tested in an earlier date. But the date was postponed later due to his injury problems. Al – Amin has recovered from injury and back to the regular bowling. He has played in the three day preparation match against Zimbabwe. Al – Amin has informed that he is now prepared for the test. Bangladesh Cricket Board’s game development manager coach Nazmul Abedin Fahim will accompany him in the test tour.
National team coach Hith Streak is hopeful about the positive result of Al – Amin’s test. Al – Amin is also hoping for good results, “Don’t know what will really happen but I’m expecting a good result. It is nice to have Fahim sir with me in the tour. I will have to bowl in exactly the same way I bowl in the actual game. I’m confident that my bowling action will be tested as valid.”
