Trailing by 218 runs from the first innings of Bangladesh, Zimbabwe are following on by stumps of day three of the second and final Test, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Another spin wizardy from Taijul Islam hold down Zimbabwe fast in their first innings chasing a massive 522 runs scored by the home team after batting first. Taijul claimed another fifer thus he made 16 wickets so far in three innings of the series.

For the visiting side, Brendon Taylor cracked a superlative hundred, a 110 scored playing 194 deliveries striving 10 boundaries while Peter Moore contributed 83.

But none of the efforts could lead Zimbabwe to acquire the required run at the end of the day.

Facing 105 overs, Zimbabwe finished their first innings at 304. With two days remaining in the match, Bangladesh have the upper hand whether to inflict follow on or not.

The visiting side once again crumbled against spin; alongside Taijul Islam, Mehedi Hasan Miraz grabbed 3 wickets while Ariful Haque ensured the remaining one.

Zimbabwe are leading the two match Test series by 1-0 defeating the home side by 151 runs in the first Test.
