Shane Warne is not only one of the most successful leg spinner of all time, but many people also consider him as overall one of the greatest of the entire game. And now the Australian has formed a list of the best batsmen according to him from all the Test playing nations. On Saturday, Warne came to Facebook Live in association with popular sports channel Sky Sports and there he revealed the names of the best batsmen from all the Test playing nations. And here, Mohammad Ashraful’s name has not only come ahead of other Bangladesh batsmen like Habibul Bashar Sumon, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim or Tamim Iqbal, but also shared place with some of the all-time great batsmen of the game.
Despite naming favorite batsmen from all other Test playing countries, Warne for the time being kept it as a secret as to who according to his personal opinion is the best batsman from his own country Australia. On the other hand, though the Australian great named one batsman each from other countries, he couldn’t find out who is better among Jacques Kallis and Hansie Cronje from South Africa, so he kept both of them on the list.
