Ashraful has placed Minhajul Abedin Nannu, the current chief selector of Bangladesh team, at number three. The next two slots belong to one of the two best cricketers in Bangladesh cricket history- Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan.

Then 35-year old Ashraful has given the hitting task to Aftab Ahmed and Mahmudullah Riyad. Aftab retired in 2014, but his power hitting batting style has kept his name in the history. On the other hand, Mahmudullah has the responsibility of pinch hitting in current Bangladesh team and he has proved his position worthy again and again in recent matches.

For bowling options, Ashraful goes for two spinners and two pacers. He has picked two left-arm spinners in Mohammad Rafique and Abdur Razzak. Rafique and Razzak sit just behind Shakib Al Hasan in highest wicket-taker list among spinners.

The two pacers of Ashraful’s team are- Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mustafizur Rahman. Mashrafe is Bangladesh’s highest wicket-taker in ODI format with 269 wickets in 218 matches while Mustafizur has been the fastest to reach 100 wickets milestone for Bangladesh in ODIs.

Tamim Iqbal, Mehrab Hossain, Minhajul Abedin Nannu, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Aftab Ahmed, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mohammad Rafique, Abdur Razzak and Mustafizur Rahman.
