Asif seeks prayers before his daughter’s cancer treatment

Pakistan batsman Asif Ali is suffering the worst phase of his life as his daughter is suffering from cancer and travelling to USA for treatment.

Asif Ali and his family came to know last match that his daughter is suffering from cancer and he came to know when he was playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Islamabad United.

Despite of the heartbreaking news, Asif continued playing and remain focused as he gave his full dedication to the side. The gesture was duly appreciated by former cricketers including Waqar Younis.

Islamabad United’s head coach Dean Jones was also seen broken into tears during a press conference when asked about the situation of Asif.

Meanwhile, Asif along with his daughter is off to USA tonight and sought prayers from everyone via Twitter. He also informed that his daughter is suffering from stage IV cancer.

“My daughter is fighting the stage IV cancer and we are taking her to US for her treatment. A big shout out to @usembislamabad and @USCGLahore for issuing the visa to us within an hour. Special thanks to Mike, Elizabeth, Tanveer & @TalhaAisham Bhai. Keep my princess in your Duas!” he tweeted.
