Australia’s Test and T20I series in Bangladesh postponed

Australia have postponed their two two-match Test series against Bangladesh to June-July 2020, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said on Monday. It was the part of the Test championship.

BCB cricket operations chairman Akram Khan told on Monday,”According to the FTP, we were supposed to host two Tests in February but now the Test series will be played in June-July 2020,”

“Initially we were expecting to host Australia for a two-match Twenty20 International series in October but now they have agreed to play three T20 internationals and it will be played ahead of the World T20 in India, though we are yet to finalise the date,” Akram khan further said.

also said Australia’s tour of Bangladesh for a T20I series have also been postponed and now supposed to take place in 2021. It was earlier scheduled to take place October this year.

Bangladesh will begin their Test Championship campaign with a two-match Test series against India, scheduled to occur in November this year.
