Australia’s World Cup 2019 jersey unveiled

The Australian cricket team will be wearing a retro uniform in the World Cup 2019. On Tuesday, the uniform has been unveiled by apparel manufacturer ASICS.

The team will once again be exposed in the retro wear after the fans voted in favor of the 1999 World Cup kit ahead of seven other uniforms.

The uniform is dominated by the color yellow with lime green colored shoulders and sides of the shirt. In the sides of the pants, there are thin green stripes.

Star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell models the World Cup 2019 kit on Tuesday.

The team will go into the World Cup on the back of series victories against India and Pakistan. Australia defeated India 3-2 in India and clean swept Pakistan in the five match series.

Australia takes on England and Sri Lanka in the warm-up fixtures before the World Cup on May 25 and 27.

The defending champions will begin their World Cup defence against Afghanistan on June 1 in Bristol.
