After a long time, Bangladesh 'A' team traveled to play outside the country. The 'A' team will play two four-day and three one-day matches against West Indies 'A' in the Caribbean tour. They will take the field in the first four-day match under the leadership of Mohammad Mithun on August 4 (Thursday).
The skipper is satisfied with the preparations of three sessions in the West Indies after the fatigue of the long tour. Mithun believes that the team will play well in the West Indies due to good preparation.
The big challenge for Mithun before taking the field in the West Indies is to adapt to the conditions as quickly as possible. Talking about the condition and preparation, captain Mithun said, “Practice facilities here (in West Indies) are good. As a team, we have been able to prepare very well. We had a good camp in Bangladesh even before coming here. And here also everyone has practiced very well. We tried to adapt to the conditions as quickly as possible."
Good preparation leads to good results. “I am confident, everyone is practicing very well. Everyone is taking their preparation in a very serious mood. I am hopeful, something good will happen inshallah,” Mithun added.
Meanwhile, after reaching the West Indies after a long journey of about 20 hours, the team is now in a very cheerful mood. Mithun wants to leave the travel fatigue behind and focus on the match. He further said, “It is indeed a very long journey. Still, we don't want to use it as an excuse. Yes, there was some fatigue. But since yesterday we are all feeling good. I talked to everyone, and everyone's focus is on our match. We are not really thinking about anything else.”
