Bangladesh 'A' collapsed in 1st innings
The first three day unofficial match between visiting Bangladesh ‘A’ team and Ranji Trophy Champion Karnataka is now underway in Mysore today. A minute of silence was observed in Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar ground before the match for late Jagmohan Dalmiya, one of the greatest cricket administrators of India. Bangladesh ‘A’ has won the toss in the morning and decided to bat first but failed to capitalize the decision as the whole batting order tumbled down from the very beginning of the innings.
Young wicket keeper batsman Litton Kumar Das and the new entry Shuvagata Hom are the sole survivors of the team; Shuvagata is the highest score, playing a 65 ball innings while scoring 55 runs with 7 boundaries and a single over boundary.
Litton Kumar Das became the second highest scorer with his fifty run innings, playing exactly fifty balls and flicked 11 fours all over the ground.
Apart from them, none other than Saqlain Sajib (15 runs, 30 balls) could reach the double figure. M Prasidh made a 5 wicket haul giving 49 runs, destroyed the whole top order batting of the visiting side.
