Bangladesh announce T20I squad for India tour

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have announced the squad for the three-match T20I series against India and it includes a lot of surprise inclusions.

Arafat Sunny and fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain are back in the side after 3 years as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announce squad for the three-match T20I series against India.

Opener Tamim Iqbal, who took a break from cricket after the Sri Lanka series is back into the side along with Soumya Sarkar, who was dropped due to his poor performance in the T20I tri-nation series.

Another top-order batsman Naim Sheikh is also included in the squad. He was in the squad for the final of the tri-series against Afghanistan, but the match was abandoned due to rain in the end. Leg-spinner Aminul Islam Biplop is also back in the side after recovering from injury. He impressed in his debut game after picking up two wickets against Zimbabwe.

Rubel Hossain, Taijul Islam and Sabbir Hossain are dropped from the side. Consistently poor performance has let Sabbir down while Afif Hossain, who was the star of the tri-series will get the chance to prove his worth in the India tour.
