Bangladesh reach home safely after horrifying Friday

The Bangladesh team including all the members of the coaching staff have reached Bangladesh safely after escaping a horrifying terror in Christchurch on Friday.

The moment which the whole nation was waiting for after the Christchurch terror attack has finally happened. The Bangladesh team landed at the Hazrat Mohammad Shahjalal Airport exactly at 10:42 PM.

The New Zealand tour was a disastrous one for the team as they lost 3-0 in the ODIs and 2-0 in the Tests, but it just not only remained with the game of cricket.

Mahmudullah and his men were supposed to play the first day of the third Test match today but a horrifying incident has turned the world upside down.

The terror attack forced the two boards to cancel the third Test match and make emergency arrangements for Bangladesh so that they can safely reach home.

More than 24 hours has passed, but who knows that it might take even years for the Bangladesh players to forget what they experienced on Friday afternoon while going to the mosque in Christchurch.

At the end of the day, a 3-4 minute delay from the Test captain has saved the life of the entire team. However, the horrifying incident has affected the entire squad and some of the players even revealed the story, how they shed tears.

Ever since the incident, every second felt like hours for the entire nation and the hearts were in the mouth until the team returned home. Finally, the nation can breathe without a hiccup and sleep without a bit less tension.
