Bangladesh squad for Pakistan Tests will be announced tomorrow
It’s the turn for Bangladesh to play Test series against Pakistan after the Twenty20 series. However, the two matches of the Test series will be again played in two halves.
There will be only one Test in the first part, one ODI with equal number of Tests in the next phase. That episode will be in April.

For that purpose, Bangladesh National team will visit Pakistan again on the night of February 4. Although there is a short three-day practice camp before the T20 series, it is no longer before the Test. Players will prepare themselves for the Test by playing Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL).
BCL’s first round match begins today (Friday), and will continue until February 3. In fact, this round’s match is a chance to get back into long-range cricket before the Test. Needless to say, after the visit to India last November, the national team has not played any longer version of cricket.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said, “As the cricketers play the four-day match, so the match practice will be done. In the first place there is no time and playing match is much more effective than practice. So we will not make practice camp again.”
He added,
“We will finish the squad altogether. If all goes well, a team of 14-member will be announced tomorrow (Saturday) or Sunday. We almost finalized the team. Only the approval of the BCB President is pending.”
As has been heard before, there will be no major surprises in the squad. The chief selector again said that. There is very little chance of a major change in the Test squad. There is no possibility of inclusion of a new member in the Test squad.
