The dual innings from Badar Munir and Riasat Khan, and the partnership between them were the main attractions of Pakistan batting.

The openers combined for a scintillating 147-run stand to provide Pakistan a solid stand. While Munir was out on 93, only 7 runs away from a well-deserved hundred, Khan made no mistake to make three figures, and remained unbeaten till the end of Pakistan innings.

In response to the whopping target set by Pakistan, Bangladesh couldn’t arise any hope of fighting back, rather managed a measly 144 for the loss of seven wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. [Read also: Bhogle lauds India’s decision to invite Bangladesh]
