BD-vs-AUS ICC CWC 2019
Afghanistan are already out of the semi-final contention after losing all six games, but they can spoil the party for Bangladesh and bury their top-4 dream on Monday.

Despite losing all six matches, Afghanistan have played superbly against the Asian sides. They almost pulled off a shock victory against the mighty Indian side and same as well against Sri Lanka. But their poor batting performance have let them down over and over again in this tournament.

With top-4 spot at stake, Bangladesh have no other way than a victory to keep themselves alive in the tournament. The Tigers have some injury issues too. Mohammad Saifuddin and Mosaddek Hossain didn’t play the last game due to injury. All-rounder Mehidy Hasan is also in doubt for the game after being struck on the head during the practice session.

Both the replacements Rubel Hossain and Sabbir Hossain had a horrible outing against Australia and this has increased more tension in the team management.

Afghanistan played against India one day ago on the same ground and their bowling will be a threat for the in-form Bangladesh batting attack.
