Bangladesh to base camp at Hove
Bangladesh national cricket team will finish their tour of Sri Lanka on April 6. They will return home the next day, and the national cricketers will play in the upcoming season of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). However, they won’t get to play many matches in DPL, as they will have to leave the country for England in the last week of April.
Bangladesh will base a camp in England prior to the ICC Champions Trophy and the tri-nation one-day series involving Ireland and New Zealand. The camp will be held at Hove of Sussex County Cricket Club and run for about 10 days. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)’s media operation committee chairman Akram Khan revealed the news on Thursday (March 9). [Read also: Lot to learn from Mushi, says Soumya]

The Mashrafe Bin Mortaza-led side will start their Champions Trophy campaign with the opening match of the tournament against England on June 1. They are bracketed into Group A alongside England, New Zealand and Australia.
