Despite going through tough times in the longer format of the game, Mithun believes home condition will favor Bangladesh in the coming assignment.

‘’If we win convincingly against Zimbabwe than we will be more confident and forget about the bad times. We can carry the better moments against any good side and get better results’’ said Mithun on Saturday. The 15-man Zimbabwe squad landed Bangladesh on Saturday evening.

Mithun further added,

“We always play well in our own condition..our performance away is very bad compared to our home form. as I said earlier we need to win as a team and that will boost our confidence and it will help play well outside as well.”

The hosts will be looking to break their six match losing streak in Test cricket that included a defeat against rookie Afghanistan at home as well.

Mohammed Mithun said that they are not pleased with the team’s recent performance in five-day matches. He also added the management has already assigned specific roles to everyone in the team in order to better the show.

‘’We all are very upset with our performance. As a team, we are not playing well. We all are given specific roles in the team and we will try to follow that role given by the management.

“We want to perform our specific roles. If we can perform our specific roles than our team performance will be better’’ Mithun told.

‘’An opener role and number 7 batsman role can not be the same in the team. We have planned this and hopefully, we will implement this in the next series,” he added.
