Bangladesh’s bilateral series against Sri Lanka fixture revealed


Shortly after the World Cup, Bangladesh will have to return to international cricket. Tigers will travel to Sri Lanka in  July for a bilateral series. [Read in Bangla: বাংলাদেশ দলের শ্রীলঙ্কা সফরের সূচি ঘোষণা]

On Monday, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed the news and revealed the fixture of the tour.

According to the fixture, Bangladesh national team will fly to Sri Lanka on 23rd of this month.

The three limited over matches are scheduled to occur on 26th, 28th and 31st of July. All of them will take place at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. All the matches of the series will be day-night affair.

The team will return to the country on 1st of August.

It can be noted that, Bangladesh were supposed to travel to Sri Lanka by the end of this year according to the Future Tour Program although SLC urged BCB to make the tour happen right after the World Cup 2019.
