Bangladesh had a pretty roller coaster ride in the year 2017. The year seemed to be one of the best in Bangladesh’s history when they earned a spot in the semi final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. After a year with lots of ups and downs, the team is all set for a busy 2018 as they will be playing series in almost every month of the year. The year starts with the tri-nation series at home where Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will participate. After this tournament, Zimbabwe will fly back home and Sri Lanka will take on Bangladesh and play two tests and two T20Is.
The team then will fly to Colombo to play tri-nation T20 series against Sri Lanka and India in March. After some back to back series in the sub-continent, Bangladesh will tour West Indies in June and the details of this series is yet to be announced.
In September, the Asia Cup 2018 will be held and the venue is still to be decided as Bangladesh and India both are against the decision of playing in Pakistan. In November-December, Bangladesh will take on against West Indies again and this time the Caribbeans
will come to tour Bangladesh.
