BBL: Shaun Marsh hit by hamstring injury
Cricket, the unpredictable game has lots of thrills and chills from the scratch till the end. At the same time, it has its dark times too such as ‘injury crisis’. One doesn’t know what happens between the overs. Incidents of batsmen struck by injuries are more in number and Shaun Marsh was the latest to make the headlines.
The veteran was hit by a hamstring injury during the Perth Scorchers’ Big Bash League clash against Brisbane Heat at the Gabba. The left-hand attacking batsman will be sent for scans after reporting ‘hamstring soreness’ during the game.
Shaun Marsh picked up an injury while running between wickets. This is not the first time that Marsh has suffering a major injury setback. Being a 35-year-old, he has an infamous history of hamstring and back problems.
Marsh struggled to find gaps while he was playing for the second game in a row as he made a mere contribution of just two runs to his name. It appears more likely that Shaun Marsh wouldn’t turn up for Perth’s final home game of the season against the Melbourne Stars at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
