BCB longs to own production rights of next BPL
Surrounded by wide criticism and dissatisfaction, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has protracted attention towards progression of BPL telecast and commentary standard.
BCB director and governing council member Ismail Haider Mollick, informing about the board’s dismay on the level of telecast and commentary standard of the last completed BPL, said the board wants to hold the production rights of next BPL in own hand.
Ismail Haider Mollick said, “We cannot express satisfaction upon the telecast standard of last BPL. But we have successfully completed the tournament despite some mistakes.”
Cricketers and spectators in the field were exasperated by embarrassing questions from some of the female presenters. Besides that, there were lack of enthusiasm in the commentary box as well in absence of popular voices like Dany Morrison.
Therefore, BCB is throwing a look towards the technical development of BPL production.
“We will look forward for better production in the next tournament. We have discussed about holding the production in our hands during next time,” Ismail Haider Mollick said.
