BCB reveals fixtures of tri-nation and Afghanistan series


Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), on Wednesday, has revealed the fixture of the one-off Test series against Afghanistan and later on Tri-nation series consisted of Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. 

According to the newly released schedule, the one-off Test series against Afghanistan will start from 5 September at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

Prior to that Afghanistan will play a two-day preparation match against BCB XI on 1st and 2nd of September after landing into Bangladesh on August 30.

After the completion of the Test series, a Tri-nation series consisting of Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be started from 13th of September.

It can be noted that Zimbabwe will step into the country on 8th of September and will participate in a preparation match on 11th of that month.

In the Tri-nation series, each team will play against each other twice in the course of the competition. The final will take place on 24th of September at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
