BCB reveals full training schedule of Bangladesh before World Cup

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have unfolded the full schedule of the training session of Bangladesh national team before flying to Ireland prior to the World Cup.

Tamim prefers team before personal milestones

Team Tigers will feature in a Tri-nation series consisting of Ireland and West Indies as a preparation for the mega ICC event.

The series will consist of a double round-robin stage where each team will play the other two sides twice.

Bangladesh are currently struggling to recover from the injury troubles of several top performers including pacer Mustafizur Rahman but BCB hopes high to have them all fit in time.

BCB selectors already announced the squad for both the World Cup and the Tri-series tournament.

Bangladesh Team Training schedule:

22 and 23 April 2019 – from 09h30 to 11h30
24 April 2019 –             from 09h00 to 11h30
25 April 2019 –             from 09h30 to 11h30
26 & 27 April –             Rest Days
28 April 2019 –             from 08h30 to 16h30
29 April 2019 –             from 09h00 to 16h00 Camp closes.
Team departs for Ireland on 01 May 2019

5 May:  Ireland vs West Indies – Clontarf
7 May:  West Indies vs Bangladesh – Castle Avenue, Dublin (3:45 BST)
9 May:  Ireland vs Bangladesh – Malahide Cricket Club Ground, Dublin (3:45 BST)
11 May: Ireland vs West Indies – Malahide
13 May: West Indies vs Bangladesh – Malahide Cricket Club Ground, Dublin (3:45 BST)
15 May: Ireland vs Bangladesh – Castle Avenue, Dublin (3:45 BST)
17 May: Final, Malahide

Following the Ireland series, Bangladesh will then step on their World Cup journey with their first match against South Africa at London scheduled for June 2.
