BCB to organize short program for Young Tigers
Bangladesh Under-19 team cricketers are returning home after World Cup victory. They are scheduled to arrive in the country on Wednesday morning (February 12). But changes have been made. The young Tigers will arrive on the same day but in afternoon.
After returning home, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is organizing a little program to welcome the team. However, the BCB is not organizing much for tired cricketers. Chief Executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury spoke on Tuesday (February 11th) at the BCB office about the preparation of the ceremony of Tiger youths.
He said, “You know that the U-19 team was supposed to arrive tomorrow morning (February 12). But they will arrive tomorrow at 5pm tomorrow because of the change of time. So it is planned that since the boys have been out of the country for a long time, we are keeping some arrangements in the shortest possible time considering everything. Arriving at the airport and taking them on board. They will be sent to their families as soon as possible after the ceremony.”
He said that the Tigers would be brought to the BCB office after receiving from the airport. Then the rest of the formalities will be left to the cricketers to spend vacation with the family.
“They will be brought to the BCB from the airport and some arrangements have been made here. They will then move on to the family. Now the schedule is supposed to go to them in the morning (Thursday). Those who are in Dhaka will leave tomorrow night (Wednesday),” Nizamuddin said.
