BCCI announce 4 net bowlers to help India in WC 2019
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the 15-man squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 yesterday. It seems that the Indian team management has already started to prepare ideal route map for the marquee event as they are taking all possible steps to groom the players.
BCCI has now announced four net bowlers who will be helping the Indian cricket team during the World Cup in the UK. The pacers include Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Deepak Chahar and Navdeep Saini.
“The players will assist the Indian team in its World Cup preparation,” said the BCCI in a statement just hours after announcing the 15-member squad for 50-over extravaganza starting from May 30 onwards.
As of now, all four bowlers are playing for different teams in the Indian Premier League.
Saini has caught the Indian committee’s eyes while playing for the RCB and so has Deepak Chahar, who has claimed 10 wickets in the competition so far. Also, Khan and Ahmed can too bowl at a good pace and as a result, their timely assistance might come good during the Indian team’s net sessions in England.
Needless to say, they both have not had much to do in the IPL as they played just one game each for Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.
