Another year is coming to the end. Unfortunately, 2020 is the year everyone wants to forget mainly due to the persisting COVID-19 situations across the world. The pandemic situation had a definite impact on cricket in 2020.

The scheduled ICC T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia has been pushed to 2022 due to the pandemic. Many scheduled tours and series didn’t go as per schedule. Recently also the ODI series between England and South Africa in South Africa called off due to the pandemic situation. Only 43 ODI matches were played this year.

1. Aaron Finch (c)

Australian skipper Aaron Finch had a good year with the bat in the format. He scored 673 runs in 13 matches as an opener with two hundred and 5 fifties. With the captaincy also 2020 is a memorable one for him.

Australia played three complete ODI series this year and they won the series against England and India. Without any doubt, the right-handed batsman will be the captain of the side too.
