Bhuvneshwar Kumar picks a Bollywood star for his biopic
Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been the one of the greatest bowlers over the years. Like every other cricketer, he is also having time in social media by interacting with his audience. He said about his career and future plan in a recent interview.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s career has been hampered by a number of injuries many times. In fact, the pacer had a disappointing start of the running year, as he was dropped early owing to illness. For now, the Meerut-born pacer is eager to brace the field again while donning the blue jersey.
The 30 years old pacer was a part of India squad in the series against South Africa. Although the first match was abandonment at Dharamsala due to rain, the subsequent two games were also called off due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Bhhuvneshwar revealed that he wants to open an academy in Meerut because the city has given him a lot.
“I want to open an academy in Meerut because it has given me so much. I just want to give it back to the people over there. That is something I am going to do for sure,” Bhuvi said in a webinar organised by GainAccess Sports & Entertainment and SportzPower.
Again, when he was asked about the actor he would choose to play his role in his biopic, Bhuvneshwar took Rajkumar Rao in the reply.
“Once somebody suggested that Rajkummar Rao has a lot of similarities with me in terms of physical appearance. So he could play my role in my biopic,” said Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
The pacer also revealed that, according to him, a player doesn’t think about anything but cricket in his early years.
“When you are young, you just cannot think anything beyond cricket. But as you grow older, you get to learn that cricket is just a part of your journey,” said the right-arm pacer.
