Bhuvneshwar Kumar ruled out of West Indies ODI series
Indian right-arm fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against West Indies due to injury.
India are now hosting West Indies for a T20I series and ODI series. The hosts succeeded in the T20I series with the series win of 2-1. Following that ODI series is to kickstart from December 15 in Chennai.
Ahead of the ODI series, India got another injury issue in the form of their fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The right-arm fast bowler has been ruled out of the ODI series with a groin injury.
Already the fast bowler missed many games for India due to the hamstring issues he is having. He was ruled out for some games in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 too. But luckily this time he got with not much serious injury trouble.
Shardul Thakur is likely to replace the injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the ODI series. But still there is no officia announcements from BCCI oj this matter. Thakur was last seen in ODIs during the Asia Cup last year.
Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun also didn’t give any proper official news on the matter and he said proper press release will come after the official letter from the medical officers. Already Shikhar Dhawan was ruled out of the series due to injury and Mayank Agarwal is replacing him in the ODI side.
