7 teams will compete in the upcoming season of BPL. The franchises have bought the team for the next 3 seasons. The teams have been able to select the cricketers of their choice from the players' draft. Before the draft, the teams signed one local cricketer to the team in a direct contract. In addition, several foreign cricketers had been recruited by all the teams.

Then Dhaka Dominators are in the second position in terms of cost. This much-discussed team have spent a lot of money in this year's draft. Dhaka spend BDT 2 crore 50 lakhs for local cricketers. On the other hand, they have spent USD 180000 on foreign cricketers, which is equal to BDT 1 crore 80 lakhs. In all, the cost of Dhaka in this year's draft is BDT 4 crore 30 lakhs.
Then the current champions Comilla Victorians are in third place in terms of expenses. Comilla spent BDT 3 crore 65 lakhs behind the domestic cricketers. If anyone counts only local cricketers, this is the highest in this year's draft. Comilla spent USD 50000 for foreign cricketers, which is equal to about BDT 50 lakhs. In all, Comilla's total cost in this year's draft stands at BDT 4 crore 15 lakhs.
Khulna Tigers are in the fourth position in the list. They spent a total of BDT 3 crore 80 lakhs. Khulna spent BDT 2 crore 80 lakhs for local cricketers. On the other hand, they spent USD 100000 for foreign cricketers, which is equivalent to 1 crore in Bangladeshi taka.
Next is Sylhet Strikers. Sylhet, which never won BPL, spent a total of BDT 3 crore 70 lakhs in this year's draft. They spent BDT 3 crore 10 lakhs for Bangladeshi cricketers. On the other hand, they spent USD 60000 for foreign cricketers, which is equal to 60 lakhs in Bangladeshi taka. All in all, the cost of Sylhet in the draft is BDT 3 crore 70 lakhs.
Rangpur Riders are in the next position. They spent BDT 2 crore 55 lakhs for local cricketers. In addition, they spent USD 60000 for foreign cricketers, which is equal to 60 lakhs in Bangladeshi taka. In all, the total cost of Rangpur is BDT 3 crore 15 lakhs.
Chattogram Challengers have formed the team with the lowest cost from this year's draft. They spent BDT 2 crore 25 lakhs for local cricketers. On the other hand, the cost of the team behind foreigners is USD 50000, which is equal to 50 lakhs in Bangladeshi taka. In all, Chattogram spent BDT 2 crore 75 lakhs in this year's draft.
