The supporters of Sylhet Strikers have got good news. Sylhet's young batter Towhid Hridoy is on the line to return after being sidelined with an injury. The cricketer, who is in the process of rehabilitating the injury, has also joined the team practice.
Hridoy scored 195 runs at an average of 65 in 3 innings for Sylhet Strikers, with a strike rate of 166.66. After Tamim Iqbal, he became the second Bangladesh to hit three consecutive fifties. Sylhet also won five consecutive matches in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). In the match in which Hridoy got injured, he went close to the century. He was the top run scorer in the 9th season of BPL when he got injured.
In the team's fourth match of the season against Dhaka Dominators, Hridoy played his career-best innings of 84 runs from 46 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes.
