BPL’s governing council’s secretary Ismail Haider told reports the reasons behind the time change: “This decision is taken because of some reasons. When the match ends at night, the fans face problem while going home. They also face transportation problem.”

He added: “Another reason is the dew. We have matches almost everyday. The curators need some time to make the outfield and pitch ready again, that’s why we changed the time.”

From 11th November, the matches will be held at Dhaka after two days break. On Fridays, the timings remain unchanged. The matches are scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm and 7:15 pm.
