Brad Hogg names only cricketer who can slam T20 double ton
Scoring a double century in Test cricket is indeed a tough task as it demands a lot of concentration. It becomes tougher when it comes to scoring a double century in ODI cricket. But in T20 cricket, it is the toughest job to score a double century as the batsman would have to counter-attack the opposition by playing a solo knock without compensating on strike-rate.
Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg was asked to pick the batsmen who can score a T20 double century. The former spinner himself paused for a while and named the only cricketer who can get a double delight in the truncated version of the game. He is none other than Rohit Sharma.
There is no doubt that Rohit Sharma is the one and only batsman who is an expert at reading the game. He knows when to switch gears and take the bowling attack to the cleaners as he has done that time and time again in his cricketing career. He is the only batsman to have scored three double centuries in ODI cricket.
According to Brad Hogg, there is no doubt about Rohit Sharma scoring a double century in the shortest format of the game considering the fact that the batsman has all the tools to accomplish the feat. Hogg reckons that Rohit is capable of pulling off the magnificent feat as he has the ability to play a wide range of shots.
“Rohit Sharma at presently is the only player I think capable of it. Good strike rate, all timing, and plays cricketing shots finding six options all around the ground,” Brad Hogg tweeted.

Currently, Universe Boss Chris Gayle holds the record for the highest score in the shortest format. He was the talk of the town after he played a phenomenal knock of 175 not out against the now-defunct Pune Warriors in the Indian Premier League. As far as the international cricket, Australia skipper Aaron Finch holds the record for his 172-run knock against Zimbabwe.
