Brett Lee rates World No.1 ODI bowler Jasprit Bumrah high for the quadrennial tournament and also picked him as one of the top three fast bowlers. Bumrah has been in a sensational form not just in ODIs but across all the formats as well.

Bumrah will be looking forward to playing a substantial role for India this time around. He has taken 85 wickets in just 49 ODIs, which goes to show that he has been the main man for India.

He also went on to shower praise on Jasprit Bumrah. “What a wonderful bowler,” said Lee while praising Bumrah.

Bumrah has shown world-class bowling skills especially in the death overs where he wouldn’t give batsman any snippet of breathing space to go for the kill.

“He’s got a good record, wonderful yorker, good pace,” added Lee, who is the member of the 2003 World Cup winning side.

Bumrah, Starc and Cummins are top 3 bowlers: Brett Lee

Apart from Bumrah, Lee picked his fellow countrymen- Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins as the other two fast bowlers who will spice it up at the tournament.

“You’d have to stick with Mitchell Starc,” Lee told cricket.com.au.

“He’s still got that quality. When that pace is up he’s hard to go past,” Lee said while praising Starc.

Mitchell Starc was named the 2015 Player of the Tournament for showcasing his mettle on the pitch as he took 22 wickets.

Cut to Cummins, Brett Lee said, “Pat Cummins: pace, accuracy, variations. He can do it all.”

Cummins too has been in good form at the moment as he has taken 17 wickets at just 14.29 in the six matches that he has played this year.
