Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was the hero on day 3 as he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul in Australia as well as that is the career-best figure. Jasprit Bumrah also achieved unique feet of taking five wicket-hauls in all three overseas tours he played this year.

In his six wickets, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a slower yorker to Shaun Marsh that completely deceived the Australian batsman. It was the last ball of the first session as the hosts were looking set to go unscathed with the pair of Marsh and Travis Head in the middle. The former was set after playing 60 balls and little did he know what was coming to him.

Bumrah bowled a classy yorker with the extremely slow pace and that costed Shaun Marsh, his wicket. At the end of the day, the pacer credited his teammate Rohit Sharma as he was the one who gave Bumrah that idea. “Rohit Sharma suggested the slower ball to Shaun Marsh because nothing was happening,” he told reporters during the press conference.
