Bumrah earns Test call up for South Africa tour

After some consistent performance with the ball in T20 and ODI format, it was about time  for Jasprit Bumrah to earn a Test call up. The day has finally arrived as Bumrah is called up for the Test series against South Africa.

Wicket keeper batsman Parthiv Patel is another man who got an unexpected call up.  He is picked up as a back up wicket keeping option for Wriddhiman Saha.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya also returned to the Test squad while leg spinner Kuldeev Yadav left out.

The Test series between India and South Africa will begin on 5th January at Cape Town. The men in blue have a lot to prove in the away series after some dominating performances at home in 2017. 

Their new journey will begin in the beginning of the next year and also a new start for Bumrah who will be making his Test debut.
