Afghanistan under-19 national cricket team will step into the ground of Bangladesh next 25th September to play an ODI series against Bangladesh U-19 national cricket team. Just before that there has been a slight change in the pre declared schedule of the series by Bangladesh Cricket Board.
In this tour Afghanistan U-19 team will play total five one day matches against Bangladesh. According to the old schedule they were expected to play first four matches in Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and 5th or the last match was to be played in the ‘Home of Cricket’ famed Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
But a change has been made in venue allocation. According to the new schedule all of the five matches of the series will be played in Sylhet. So on that series no match will be played in Dhaka, says BCB.
Not only the venue allocation, there’s been made a change in the time too. In the previous schedule the last match was to be played on 7th October, Saturday. But since they won’t have to move to Dhaka and no need to change the venue the gap between the 4th and last match has been decreased. So the match will go on field at 6th October, Friday.
The rest of the matches will be played having a single days’ gap between each which will be started from 28th instant. So 30th September, 2th, 4th and 6th October are the dates of second, third, fourth and fifth ODI respectively.
This 25th September they will land on Bangladesh and the next day they will go to Sylhet. After a single day’s practice the youth of the recently test status achieved country, will go for the first match.
After the series they will fly back to Dhaka on 7th October and the next day they are scheduled to depart for home.
