Chopra picks 6 best Indian fielders and picks Kohli at 6


India has been keeping sheer dominance in cricket domain due to fitness levels of its players. After the appointment India skipper Virat Kohli, it had weighed on making no compromise over fitness issues. Therefore, it profits as India’s fielding standards also incredibly improved overtime.

Along with skipper Kohli, India is equipped with some of the best fielders at the international stage who can pluck catches, save runs inside and outside the circle and stun the opposition with bullet. Commentator Aakash Chopra, on Saturday, picked six Indian fielders that India has ever produced.

Chopra picked skipper Virat Kohli at number 6. Kohli has plucked 251 international catches and also known for athleticism and ability to field at any position. Chopra pointed out is Kohli being relatively inefficient to field at slips that’s why he was placed at number six.

Kapil Dev, who had stunned the world by taking the backward-running catch of Viv Richards in 1983 World Cup final has been placed after Virat kohli. Yuvraj Singhvhas been placed at the No.4 spot for his efficiency at the point and square leg.

Mohammad Kaif was placed at the No.3 position Following Yuvraj. Kaif revolutionized the way of Indian fielding feels Chopra. Kaif was known for his diving efforts and his agility.

Suresh Raina has plucked 167 international catches so far therefore, the No.2 position went to him . Besides, Chopra also recalled Raina’s beautiful catches in IPL.

Ravindra Jadeja is regarded ‘Sir Jadeja’ for his rocket throws and ability to cover the ground, therefore Chopra awarded the No.1 position to him.
