AB de Villiers has quite often been the solution to the team’s problems because of his supreme ability to play innovative shots in every direction and that too with such ease. He can time the balls well, clear it out of the park easily.
Moreover, his presence in the truncated version of the game is good news for cricket fans. He has by far played 295 T20s in his career, having scored 8,186 runs with a remarkable strike rate of 149.84.
In the last edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), AB de Villiers was scintillating with the bat as he scored 442 runs at a staggering average of 44.20 and a strike rate of 154 for RCB.
He also plied his trade for Middlesex in the just-concluded Vitality T20 Blast, scoring 4 half-centuries in 8 innings.
