Dale Steyn, who was eying to make a comeback in International cricket has withdrawn his name due to fitness. Then Vernon Philander ruled out due to injury and it wasn’t enough as all-rounder Chris Morris is now ruled out due to injury too.
South Africa’s team manager has confirmed on Tuesday that he won’t be available for the test series. But he is hopeful that Morris can play the ODI & T20 series.
Few days ago, batting all-rounder JP Duminy announced his retirement from Test cricket and with Chris Morris’s exclusion due to injury South Africa will face difficulties to find a replacement.
On the other side, there has not been much injury problem for Bangladesh other than Mossadek Hossain who’s not called up for the test series due to eye injury.
The no. 1 all-rounder in the world Shakib Al Hasan will not be available for the test series too for Bangladesh as he took a short break from Test Cricket.
Injury problems, few stars missing, still nothing can’t take the excitement away from the fans. The first test will begin on 28th September at Potchefstroom.
