The Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 2017 is set to kick off on Friday in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) has bagged the rights as the official broadcaster of the tournament. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ যে সকল চ্যানেলে দেখা যাবে সিপিএল]

Sony Six and Sony ESPN will telecast the matches live in the Indian sub-continent including Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. SonyLIV will live stream the matches online.

Jamaica Tallawahs, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders, St Lucia Stars, Barbados Tridents and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots will take on each other twice in the round-robin league. The tournament has Playoff system like IPL. The Final will be on September 9 in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are the two Bangladeshis who will play in CPL 2017. Shakib has been retained by Jamaica while Trinbago bagged in all-rounder Miraz. Both the sides have star players from West Indies and overseas.

The opening match will be between St Lucia Stars and Trinbago Knight Riders at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium on 4th August at 9:00 pm local time. As on Bangladesh time, it will be at 7:00 am on 5th August. This match will be telecasted live on Sony ESPN. The rest of the matches will be shown on Sony Six and Sony Six HD.

USA’s Lauderhill will host four matches on August 5 and 6. Except St Lucia and Trinbago, the rest four teams will play two matches each there.
