Cricketing fans not happy after Rohit’s exclusion from the West Indies tests
Indian captain Rohit Sharma led India to a record seventh Asia Cup title in the United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. And just within twenty-four hours frame, he was ignored by the national selectors for the upcoming two test match series against West Indies at their own backyard.
Many fans of him hoped for his selection in the test side following his sublime performance in the Asia Cup. Rohit showed his intelligence and calmness as a captain when his team was in crunched situations. Many cricketing legends hailed his captaincy skills. And to top all of that, he was in a top form with the bat. He scored one century, two half-centuries and a quick fire 48 in the final to give his side perfect starts in almost all matches.
Rohit was last selected in a test match when India toured South Africa earlier this year in January. But he was not able to score many runs in those test matches. That’s why he was dropped straight away and wasn’t even considered for Afghanistan test as well as England series and now the West Indies one.
Rohit had a rollercoaster of a ride so far in his test career. He announced himself with a bang when he debuted five years ago against West Indies at home. He scored two centuries in his first two matches. But then his inconsistency was too much for the selectors to keep him in consideration. Guess his only hope is to open the innings in the longer format one day as he does in limited overs. Who knows what is in store for the extremely talented Mumbai guy.
Many of Indian fans were left furious after the selecting panel excluded the talented stand-in skipper of team India and expressed their anger on the twitter-
Well, you can only overlook pure class for so long. Just feel that @ImRo45 needs a long consistent 10-15 test matches run before they decide to drop him for good.

Why no Rohit Sharma in Indian Team squad for WestIndies Test Series? After Kohli, he’s the best batsman available. And in terms of talent, he’s the best batsman in world. #CricbuzzLIVE #INDvWI #ShikharDhawan got what he deserves.
