CSK rope in Afghan fast bowler Fazalhaq as net bowler
Chennai Super Kings made the headlines recently when they roped in South African pacer Hardus Viljoen as a net bowler. The former Punjab Kings bowler was seen hitting the deck hard in the training session.
In the latest development, the three-time IPL champions made yet another move by roping in Afghanistan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi as a net bowler. The news was confirmed by Afghanistan Cricket Board. The ACB tweeted photos of their player Farooqi leaving for Chennai while making the announcement.
“Young Fast bowler @fazalhaqfarooq6 left to India where he is roped in as a net bowler by @ChennaiIPL for the upcoming season of @IPL!” said the ACB.
