The curtain of IPL – 10 to be raised soon

The tenth edition of the most prestigious domestic T20 tournament, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick off within a short span of time from now on. Defending champion Sunrisers Hyderabad will encounter Royale Challengers Bangalore who has happened to be the favorite in the beginning of almost every season until now.

Both the teams have backlashes immediately before the starting of the season; Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Bangladesh recruit Mustafizur Rahman is absent from the show and yet to confirm whether he will be able to play in the tournament or not. Mustafizur’s clinical performance led Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch their first ever IPL title in 2016.

Meanwhile Royale Challengers Bangalore regular captain Virat Kohli has also ruled out of the at least from the first leg of the tournament due to shoulder injury.

Painstakingly for RCB is that AB De Villiers who had been the franchise’s second choice as the captain has also expressed his inability to attain the team as he is suffering from a calf muscle strain.

RCB has also lost their regular captain KL Rahul for the entire IPL season; Rahul played against Australia in the just completed bilateral series despite carrying a shoulder injury and now the trouble worsen throwing him out of the money making tournament.

Sarafaraz Khan, the middle order of RCB injured his leg during the practice session and is supposed to be unavailable from the whole tournament.
