Dasun Shanaka to replace Malinga for the last two ODIs

Dasun Shanka is selected for the last two ODIs as replacement of Lasith Malinga. Ashantha De Mel, the chief selector has been retained as a manager for the Sri Lanka team, it is learnt here.
De Mel also discharged the dual duty of a chief selector and a manager during the recent World Cup.
The 60-year-old ex-fast bowler will continue to be the chief selector for the series. The selectors have also shortlisted the final squad of sixteen players for the three ODIs’ against Bangladesh.

The players checked into the hotel today. Both the teams are staying in the same hotel, is also confirmed. The selectors have not named the vice-captain.
It is not known whether the un-selected 6 from the original of 22 would be invited to witness the matches but it is confirmed that Dasun Shanaka will replace Lasith Malinga for the last two ODIs.
SLC board is yet to name the replacements for the fielding coach and batting coach.
Both-Steve Rixon and Jon Lewis-are no more contracted with the SLC. Manoj Abeywickrema is likely to be the fielding coach till new appointment is not announced.
