Former South African master mind AB de Villiers will probably be seen in the sixth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League.
After snorkeling in the franchise based cricket leagues all around the globe, Proteas great de Villiers might now be available to entertain Bangladesh spectators in the imminent BPL season as reports revealed that Rangpur Riders are having discussions with him.
Earlier, Rangpur Riders have signed contract with Englishman Alex Hales which would also be his first appearance in BPL.
Sources of the franchise team revealed they are now trying to secure AB de Villiers in the team. Rangpur Riders already retained Chris Gayle, Mashrafe Mortaza, Nazmul Islam and Mohammad Mithun.
Rangpur Riders CEO Ishtiaque Sadeque told to Cricbuzz, “We have signed Hales for the upcoming edition of BPL. We are expecting him to be available throughout the tournament.”

Hales was approached by the Riders through Tom Moody, the common person to coach both Rangpur Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad of the Indian Premier League where Hales was among foreign recruits.
According to rescheduled fixture, this years’ BPL will commence from either 4th or 5th of January, 2019 due to countrywide general election.
If de Villiers would join in Rangpur Riders, he could play in last six to seven matches of the tournament for he will be engaged in the Big Bash League that coincides with BPL schedule.
