Dean Jones dies at the age of 59
Former Australian cricket legend Dean Jones has died from a massive heart attack on Thursday September 24. The former cricketr was was part of Star Sports commentary section and he was in Mumbai team in a bio-secure bubble. He was staying in a seven-star hotel in Mumbai and has a major heart attack there and died instantly. Before his death he surpassed 59.
Dean Jones was a very active analyst of cricket and he opined his various issues on social media in different times. He was supposed to cover the Indian premier League IPL analysis at the star sports complex and he had signed to do off-tube commentary.
The former Australian Cricketer was a popular cricket expert and a media personality. His show ‘Prof Deano’ was extremely popular on NDTV as he was a very familiar figure in India. He was mostly known for his commentary skills and covered a huge number of matches in different franchise league across the world.
The former Australian Cricketer was Born in Melbourne. He played 52 Test matches scoring 3631 runs at an average of 46.55 for Australia. He has a 216 runs inning’s as his best score, Jones scored 11 centuries and was an important member of Allan Border’s team. Meanwhile, he also played 164 ODIs and scored 6068 runs with the help of seven centuries and 46 fifties. interestingly he was one of the first Australian batsmen cut out for the limited-overs game.
