In the 42nd match of the Bangladesh Premier League, Dhaka Dynamites are the winners against Khulna Titans.

At last Dhaka Dynamites survived the scare; defeating Khulna Titans by 6 wickets ensured their spot in the play offs of BPL 2019.

The Dynamites paced through an easy win chasing the shabby target that the Titans were able to stand on the board after deciding to bat first.

With more than five overs to spare, Dhaka Dynamites reached 124 for the loss of 6 wickets eclipsing Titan’s 123 made losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

It became a total team effort for the Dynamites; no performer either bowler or batsman really starred the show in this occasion to pick up the easy win.

Opener Upul Tharanga scored highest with a 30 ball 42 flicking four fours and two sixes, stood for a 43 run opening partnership with Sunil Narine who was the second highest scorer in the lineup.

Narine hammered 35 in a handful of 13 deliveries mastering 2 fours and double of that number of over boundaries. Wicket keeper Nurul Hasan employed a less than run a ball unbeaten 27 to finish things off at ease.

In the earlier phase of the last league match of this season’s BPL, Mahmudullah’s decision of batting first was spoiled by some errant running from the batsmen as three of them underwent run outs.

Apart from that, Rubel Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan exhibited dynamic bowling scalping two wickets each.
