Dhaka Premier League back in home of cricket

The highest domestic one day competition of club cricket Dhaka Premier League has begun on Monday. No sooner than the bilateral series against Sri Lanka is over, national team cricketers are getting busy in domestic schedules.

Controversial 'Players' draft' retained in DPL

Due to the occurrence of home series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Premier League could not start from the prime venue of the capital city. But with the match between Abahani and Mohammedan, the competition is back on it’s’ place from today.

From now on, all matches of every round will be held at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Apart from that, the classic encounter between Abahani and Mohammedan will take place in Mirpur on 26th of this month. For the last three years, the popular clash was scheduled outside Dhaka, either in Fatullah or BKSP.

Bangladesh national team will fly to Colombo on 4th of March to participate in the 2018 Nidahas Trophy comprised of Sri Lanka and India. The Tigers will face India in their first match which is dated on 8th of March. Before that, the tournament will kick off on March 6.
