Dhawan takes a dig at Pujara after the latter says he is missing cricket

With the ongoing coronavirus epidemic stopping several cricket events around the world, many prolific players are not unable to showcase their mettle in the field. Meanwhile, several sporting stars have become quite active on social media platforms as they are busy spending some quality time by interacting with their beloved fans by throwing a question and answer session.

Recently, India’s dependable No.3 batsman Cheteshwar Pujara took to his official Instagram handle and expressed his frustration of being away from the game. After seeing this status, India’s swashbuckling opener Shikhar Dhawan took time to troll his teammate by posting a hilarious remark.

“The thing I miss the most in this lockdown is being on the cricket field,” wrote Cheteshwar Pujara who is currently the seventh-ranked Test batsman. He put this caption along with a picture of him practising in the nets, which literally goes to show how much he misses cricket.

Pujara’s post received a great response from the fans. It was when Shikhar Dhawan came across the picture and then trolled the right-handed batsman. “Sachi humein toh pata hi nahi tha ki tu cricket miss kar raha hai. Wah (Translation: Really, We didn’t know that you are missing cricket. Wow)” wrote Shikhar Dhawan.
