Indian team led by Virat Kohli managed to move up to semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and they lost to New Zealand in the semi-final game. It was MS Dhoni who was fighting in the end and unfortunately he lost his wicket for a runout and that took the game completely away from India.

The runout will be unforgettable for Indian team as well as fans. Ms Dhoni was couple of inches sort of the crease when the ball hit the stumps. For the first time, MS Dhoni talked about that runout. The former captain said that he is still regretting for not putting a dive at that moment which would have changed the situation.

MS Dhoni told to India Today, “I keep telling myself, why didn’t I dive. Those two inches I keep telling myself, ‘MS Dhoni, you should have dived.” The finisher is still feeling for the runout which ruined India’s chances of winning the World Cup.

That runout was the last moment MS Dhoni was seen in the International cricket. Ever since that MS Dhoni is missing in the Indian team. He also made himself unavailable for series too. But still there are some exceptions on him to play ICC T20 World Cup in Australia this year.
